TIME FOR YOUR DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

The 4th of July is when we Americans celebrate our independence, our freedom.

As you prepare your celebrations, let me encourage you to reflect on these two questions:

Are you truly independent? Are you truly free?

Most distributors with whom I speak don’t seem very independent. They seem to be enslaved by all of the requirements and details of running a business.

Here’s an easy test: Could you fly to Hawaii for three months and tell someone where to send your check?

If your answer is “yes”, congratulations! You have much to celebrate.

If your answer is “no”, then let me encourage you to spend some time this holiday to reflect on whether your goal is to eventually enjoy that level of independence. If that level of independence is your ultimate goal, put together a plan of action that helps you achieve that goal.

Finally, no matter what point we are currently at in our business, during this holiday we all need to celebrate our freedom to pursue our dreams.
